Fantastic.....

Woo Hoo! Our first member report on opening day! Member Jacob Skudlarek landed this beautiful Chautauqua Lake Musky. She was out looking for breakfast at 7a.m. and decided to take a chomp on a 5" mahogony Baker Musky Lures. Great Job Jacob!

Thank you Doug Conroe and Chautauqua Lake Association for graciously donating time and use of the CLA barge. Here's a neat video courtesy of member Brandon Dorman. ... See MoreSee Less

Excited to announce what many would consider our biggest project completion to date! We completed our first of 3 spots installing wooden cribs to help combat the weed killer and improve the overall health of the fishery according to the D.E.C.

The cribs are located on the east side of Bemus Bay about 100 yards south of the State launch. They are in a straight line heading 300 yards south toward the bridge. Cribs are located in 14 feet of water, leaving 10 feet of clearance above them. We will provide the GPS coordinates for you in the comments soon and will be update on future charts.

Many thanks to those involved over the last 4.5 years to complete this! If it wasn't for involved members this dream would have never become reality! Way to go Chapter 69 members! Today went very well and everyone involved helped make that happen. Special mention to Andy Ohl and Mike Sperry for taking the lead on the last leg of this, going above and beyond in many ways allowing us to move foward with our vision. Thank you all for your hard work and way to go team!

Tight lines!!!!!! #nymuskyseason
